A Cheesy Post for Two Crazy Kids

Camille and Stephanie are pretty much the best friends I've ever had... I have lot of very good friends and I love them all but these two have been with me through more than any of my other friends. I am really sad to be moving away because I'm really going to miss my family and Stephanie (she's practically my sister anyway) and even though I'll only be 20 minutes away it will be strange not seeing them pretty much every day... But we will still hang out a lot so it'll be fine I'm sure. :) I just am going to miss them very much. We pretty much have the most fun when we get together.

So this blog is for Camille and Stephanie because they should know that I will miss them and our walks, our Psych parties, when we get really really hyper and say ridiculous things and laugh like crazy, our deep discussions, chocolate eating, etc. You get the idea. But of course it's not the end of those things... they'll just happen less frequently. Camille and Stephanie are both amazing and I love them so much and I'm glad I have them both to be such good friends for me. I don't know what I would do without them. Seriously, it sounds cliche, but I really would be a very very unhappy person without these two crazy kids

Weekend Trip to Pine Valley.

Over the weekend my mom, my sisters, some friends and I traveled down to Pine Valley which is about 45 minutes outside of St. George. It was a really short trip but it was really fun just to hang out with friends and family for a little while before school starts. (I can't believe Summer is almost over...)
The cabin we stayed in was very nice and very large and was more like a house than a cabin. They had kind of a home theater sort of thing which we really enjoyed. We watched movies until very early in the morning which was fun and then Stephanie got really tired and would say really funny things like "I want banana pops! They look like the lights on the ceiling! Wait a second... I don't even like banana pops... or bananas. They're squishy like slugs." and silly things like that. You kinda had to be there though... haha. Trust me it was funny. We also rode a crazy roller coaster, went four wheeling, had long car rides, played games, etc.

We went to Primm (just outside of Las Vegas) to ride a roller coaster called The Desperado. It was really fun but not as scary as it looks. Oh well haha. I still enjoyed it.

The end!

Shooting stars, birthday parties, sunburns, and rainbows... quite the weekend.

This last weekend was pretty adventurous but wore me out more than I've been worn out in a loooong time. I liked it a lot though. I'll start with Friday night. 

So Stephanie, Camille, and I decided we wanted to sleep outside in Stephanie's backyard on her tramp because none of us had ever done that before and I guess everyone else has... We had quite the exciting water party with Stephanie's awesome sprinkler that can change patterns just by twisting it. We also went to the park in the middle of the night and found out that many teenagers do that... we're kind of like monsters... we wait until dark and then we all flock to the park. Apparently? But we swung on the swings up to the starry sky which was very beautiful and then we saw a rather large shooting star that was blue and then red and I'd never seen one quite that cool before. Then we laid on the tramp talking and being silly and listening to Camille's ipod. Then Camille and I fell asleep but I woke up awhile later to Stephanie and Camille's persistent giggles... and yeah they were making fun of me sleeping. :P But we decided to have 4:00 am s'mores since we were all awake anyway. They were quite delicious actually. We stayed up for awhile after and ended up getting very little sleep. But that's the way sleep overs are supposed to be right? Camille and Stephanie are just amazing friends. I don't know what in the world I would do without them.

The next day Stephanie, Jairen, and I attended Alexi's birthday party. We went up to Willard Bay to go boating. We had SO much fun! Stephanie and I kept riding the tube and we would hang on for our lives but we kept telling the driver to go faster and crazier and when we got off we were so dizzy and laughing hysterically and I'm afraid we looked a little insane. But we didn't care. :) We thought it was pretty dang hilarious. We did that for almost 6 hours and then headed back home and on the drive we saw the most beautiful double rainbow! So thanks to Alexi we had an awesome day! I am now sore and sunburnt but it was way worth it. And here are pictures of course...

The Birthday of Alexi Wilcox

Alexi Wilcox is awesome and today is her birthday! I haven't known her for too long but we're already good friends. :) Every day that I have math she texts me and says good luck before my class which I really appreciate because I definitely need the luck. She never forgets either. She is really nice and cares about her friends very much. She had a really awesome birthday party yesterday and I had so much fun! I will write about it tomorrow. She's fun to hang out with and fun to talk to and just an awesome person overall and I hope she had a great birthday!!

The 24th of July

Last Saturday was Pioneer Day and also the day we celebrated Jamie Lyn's birthday so we did lots of things to celebrate! I loved it!
First we woke up really early to participate in a 10 K (6.2 mi) run. Although Camille, my mom, and I walked, Jamie Lyn and my dad ran almost the entire way. I think Jamie Lyn did run the whole way actually. I was impressed! It was nice just to walk and talk with Camille and my mom though. I enjoyed it.

After that we went and saw "Inception" which I really really liked. It was pretty crazy but I didn't feel bored at all through the entire thing and I was able to keep up pretty well with what was going on... for the most part anyway. I would recommend it!

That night we went and watched the fireworks which we don't do too often so it was pretty fun and here are my pictures... I was trying to figure out how to take them in the dark...

 So this past week two of my favorite people have had birthdays. Both of their names are Jamie even! But I'd like to write this post about them both and wish them both happy (kinda late) birthdays.

My older sister, Jamie Lyn, had her birthday today actually. We celebrated it over the weekend though (more about that later). Our whole family loves when she comes home on the weekends though because we have a lot of fun when she is around. Sometimes she, Camille, and I can be pretty silly and we laugh a lot. It's awesome. :) She's really intelligent and I wish I could be that smart haha... She is really witty and comes up with puns and such all of the time. She has good taste in music and also isn't ashamed to sing along to music in the car with Camille and I with our water bottles functioning as microphones. (Though sometimes I sleep through it and apparently they start singing about me sleeping... hmm..). Jamie Lyn has green eyes... and let's face it--green eyes are just awesome and everyone secretly wishes they had them. She's knows just when to be ridiculously silly and when to be serious. Both Camille and I look up to her and she definitely makes our family more interesting and cooler.

The other birthday is that of my friend Jamie Roan. She is one of those great friends who stay your friend no matter how little you're able to hang out or talk. We live kind of far away and are both busy so we don't get to see each other a whole lot but we are still good friends. I think that's really great! A lot of people kind of forget their friends when they don't see them as often. I'm glad Jamie and I still are friends. Since becoming friends we have endured walkabouts, gone on school trips, dealt with crazy drama, giggled during Eric's classes, made friends with nerdy boys, teased Carl, rode sleeping bags down the stairs, made smoothies out of random ingredients and so much more. Basically we have lots of fun and I can't wait to see the kinds of adventures we come up with when we live at BYU. She is a loyal and awesome friend and one of those people you know you can trust.

Both of these Jamies are pretty fantastic and I love them! Happy Birthday to both of you. :)

P.S. sorry this was badly written but I am sleepy. :) Bedtime.

Beirut Concert.

Yesterday, I went to the Beirut concert up in Salt Lake for the Twilight Concert Series (which has absolutely nothing to do with vampires... thank goodness.) I didn't like the first band that played which was called The Twin Sisters... they were just really boring. But Beirut was really good! They sound better live than they do recorded even.

Then yesterday my mom and my sisters and I went down to Cedar City to see "Pride and Prejudice" at the Shakespeare Festival. It was pretty good. The BBC six hour version will always be my favorite though. :)
